Ingredients

  • 2 cup warm water
  • 2 tbsp active dry yeast
  • 2 cup flour
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 4 pinches of salt
  • 4 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp red food coloring
  • 4 tbsp melted butter

Instructions

  • In a bowl, put sugar, yeast, salt, and add warm water.
  • Stir and let it rest 5 minutes.
  • Add flour and stir.
  • Add cocoa powder, butter and stir.
  • Add red food coloring, mix and let it rest for 2 hours or overnight.
  • Fry into oil by forming drops for about 1.5 inches.
