For this week, I am sharing a little marinade or should i say sauce since I am using it for bot purposes. This sauce will give a little kick to your food and especially your veggies. It is a recipe that my vegan friends will love for sure as you can get all the ingredient dairy free and vegan friendly. ,I have gain so many vegan followers and welcome to all of you. In teh beginning, I followed an Hispanic recipe for my corn, but in a long run I stopped putting main Hispanic ingredients and I then realize that it lost its authenticity and became mine since I was adding other ingredients. Another creation by me, say whatttttt?? I can find Hispanic Ingredients but when I do I barely use everything since they are no part of my everyday meal plans. I love using this sauce on my fries either potato, plantain, sweet potatoes. I do not put salt in this sauce because the mayo I use is already salty, but by all means use some if you feel like it. This marinade made my veggies consumption rise and for a crunchy taste I use fresh or slightly steamed vegetables.
Chili Lime Marinade/Sauce
- 4 tbsp sour cream (vegan or regular)
- 4 tbsp mayonnaise (vegan or regular)
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 lemon
- 2 garlic cloves
- Grate the garlic.
- Put all the ingredients in a bowl.
- Add the half lemon juice.
- Mix everything.
- Keep in the refrigerator until usage.
